IT Portfolio & Project Management Best Practices - City of Toronto

  • Embedded in one of the sheets of the IT Business Case is a prioritization matrix that we started to introduce for the 2008 budget. At this stage it was only being tested - and divisions were asked to self prioritize - this is all we did on that front.

  • Also attached is another hybrid prioritization model that we used as a draft - and we were comparing the results we got on each. We did not see any major differences. The prioritization is still a work in progress.

  • Project Management Methodology General and for small projects - currently under review.
