On May 2, the Task Force held a one-day workshop in Niagara-on-the-Lake to explore possible governance models for a pan-Canadian IdM&A framework. Their findings are presented in this report. April 2007 Interim Report to Deputy Ministers - Click Here The Deputy Ministers responsible for Service Delivery Collaboration decided to form a short term Identity Management and Authentication Task Force (IATF). Members were drawn from the federal government, several provinces, MISA Canada, and the Institute for Citizen Centred Service. The Task Force’s challenge is to develop a common, pan-Canadian Identity Management and Authentication framework that will be flexible enough to meet the needs of clients and jurisdictions in many different situations as they evolve in fundamentally new ways.
